The Allium 'Ivory Queen', 'Allium karataviense', a fall planted ornamental onion bulb, will produce large flowers. Ivory Queen is a sport of Allium karataviense and displays dense ivory-white flowers shining above attractive broad, glaucous leaves. They are great for ornamental value and widely used for both landscape and cut flower purposes. Alliums prefer to be dry in their dormancy. The Allium Ivory Queen is ideal for containers, mass plantings, borders, and cut flowers. Ivory Queen has a bloom period of about 3 weeks and they bloom in late spring to early summer.
