The Geranium Midnight Reiter, 'Pelargonium', has rich, true blue flowers that bloom from June till August. With its beautiful dark purple foliage, it has a plant width of 12ö and a height of 6ö. (If grounded in shade, the foliage turns green with purple highlights.) æMidnight ReiterÝ needs to be cut back in early summer for repeat bloom time in the fall. It is a superb plant for cottage gardens, container growing, borders or informal borders in mass plantings. There is an attraction to bees and butterflies and it is very disease and deer resistant. A great plant for a beginner gardener.
